NEW YORK and OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Blackstone (NYSE: BX) and QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) today announced that affiliates of Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc., and Blackstone Property Partners have completed their previously announced acquisition of QTS Realty Trust for approximately $10 billion, including debt. QTS’ common stock, Series A preferred stock and Series B preferred stock will no longer be listed on any public market. continues
QTS is the datacenter developer that Blackrock took private in 2021. QTS is the single largest driver of gains in the company's $1.3 trillion portfolio in 2025. The QTS website does not mentionthey have been privately owned by Blackrock for 5 years. "Who we are" is a generic fantasy: the rest of the story is fiction designed to smooth the depredation of cities around the world that will pay their electric bill and suffer their presence.
